Good Morning!
We have not had a Thread about our 10/10 1/2 month olds in a while and I thought I would get one started so we could see how everyone is doing and if anyone has any questions or ideas for others. I do have a question (or two). My DD still gets a bottle with rice in it before bed, (we use those "y" cut nipples so it comes out) and I wonder if yours are still eating a bottle before bed and if not - how did you break the bottle and do they still sleep through the night? How about the pacifier? Right now we have a "couple" of them in her crib at night - she really doesn't use it during the day - it's just at night - she will find one and go back to sleep - has anyone cut that out too? Do they still sleep through the night? Right now she doesn't have anything that "calms" her back to sleep at night (no blanket - stuffed animal etc.....) and right now this seems to be her "security" at night.....any advice?
How much is everyone's kids eating now? (Between 6-8 ounces when given the bottle - otherwise it's food....)
How many teeth? (6 now for us)
How much do they weigh/how long are they? (About 23 pounds and 30 inches)
Any fun tricks or things they are doing now? (Putting things back in to containers etc.....) Saying some words - but nothing close to Ma-ma!
:bouncing:
No sure if she is close to walking yet or not - but I would love to know if anyone's DD or DS is doing that yet or not? What are the signs???

Well let us know how everyone is doing.......
Have a great day!

My baby boy Ty is almost 10 months old now.
He still gets a bottle with cereal in it before bed each night.
We use a pacifier still, but like you not very often at all.
Ty has never slept thru the night and still doesn't. I guess he has on a few nights but most of the time he still gets up once to eat. He is a little guy so I feel if he wants to eat then I am going to feed him. On his 9 month checkup he was 17lbs, 11 oz and 26 1/2 inches long. So he is a little guy!!

Ty usually eats a bottle 6-8 ounces at each feeding now including his 3 meals a day. He likes to eat grown up food more than baby food so he gets quite a bit of the real stuff.

He just actually is getting his 2 bottom teeth right now. They are 1/2 way there!! WOO HOO!!
He is army crawling everywhere!! He says mama, dada, baby, bye bye, waves bye-bye, mocks big time, pulls himself up, dances...he is VERY busy!!

He only walks while holding on to someone though!! That's ok, I am not in a huge hurry for that!! :-)

Yay!! I was hoping someone would start this thread!

DD is sleeping through the night and has for a few months. She started teething her 4 top teeth all at once (has 6 1/2 teeth now)and woke up at about 6 am every morning for a couple weeks but DH would give a bottle and she would go right back to bed. She is cruising on everything and lets go wobbles a couple seconds then falls. She is trying so hard to keep up with DS.
She eats table food at almost every meal mostly because she loves to feed herself.
She can say dada, baba and lala (our son Liam) but just like you no mama not even a bable with the letter m in it. She still screeches and it makes me nuts  .We were at a baby shower and she did it the whole room went silent and was looking at us. It is the loudest most ear piercing thing ever and she does it only when happy.
I am not sure how much she weighs last time we went to the drs she was 20 lbs 4oz and I think 25inches. But I know its not anymore because she had a major growth spurt and skipped a whole shoe size even.
I am thinking of getting her ears pierced anyone do that yet?
Great to hear from everyone.

DS is almost 11 months. He is about 24 lbs. He had his hernia surgery a week ago and is doing good. I am hoping things still go okay, as his testicles are still not in his scrotum but next to it.
He is eating mostly table food, breakfast is still cereal and fruit and sometimes cheerios with a very, very little milk. He gets 3 - 6 onuce bottles a day and is doing 3 meals a day also. He is turning into a very picky eater. He mostly eats home made soup and a few other things. I am going to keep giving him formula bottles until he eats better at meals. I am worried about nutrition intake.
He is crawling all over and pulls up and walks holding on with one hand but refuses to take off on his own. But I am sure it will happen soon. He is a little terror and into everything.
He sleeps good most nights but still has ones where he is up. He has a favorite blanket and a pacifier. About a month ago he finally learned how to soorhe himself to sleep. I have had so many problems with this. he finally was able to sleep without being swaddled at 8 months and at 10 months gave us the cues that he didn't need us to go to sleep. :bouncing: It makes things so much easier that I can put him down for a nap and leave the room.
He says DaDa and duckaducka (duck/bird), he was saying hello and good but stopped. He waves bye-bye, give kisses and plays peek-a-boo and DH has taught him to ride matchbox cars around.

Nice to see this thread and some familiar names as I haven't been on these boards for awhile.

Baby Kaislyn is now almost 11 months (on the 14th) and she is an absolute joy. She was just around 20lbs and 29" at her 9 month check up. She has been sleeping through the night since 6 weeks old (I know I'm lucky as DS did as well). She sleeps from around 7 or 8 to around 7 or 8 every night with a short nap about 10am and a longer one around 2:30/3pm.

Kaislyn LOVES to eat! Being born at 10.5lbs, she came out wanting steak lol. She gets 4 6oz bottles a day with 3 meals. She does use a pacifier at night, but I will be tossing that very soon -found that worked the best with DS-hard for a day or two, but easier than fighting with them at 2 or 3 years old.

She has just 2 teeth on the bottom which suprised me as DS had a full set including molars by 12 months. She was late crawling I think due to lack of tummy time (big time spitter when on her belly-she hated it), but now is crawling army style and occasionally gets up on her knees to rock a bit. She will stand if she is holding on to something, but has no signs of walking anytime soon.

I love this age when their little personalities really start to blossom. Kaislyn says mama, dada, baba, and growls like a monster. She dances to music and plays pat-a-cake, waves bye and hi, and shrugs her shoulders when I say "I don't know!" She likes "this little piggy", and "itsy bitsy spider". Overall, she is a delight and so easy to take care of-super funny too!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well and enjoying their little ones!

Wow...It's been a while since I have been on here, and I am glad to see some of the familiar names! Well Baby Kaven is almost 11 months (the 15th) and I can't believe how fast it has gone! He is a big boy still! Lol...He was 22.5 lbs. and 31" the last time we went to the doctor, and I am sure he has gotten bigger since then!!

He LOVES to eat. I only give him a na-night baba which is only 4oz. at about 9:00 when he is getting ready for bed, other than that he get 3 meals and water and juice through out the day. I don't buy baby food because it is kinda expensive and I don't really like all the preservitives in it so I make him fresh food then I grind it in a baby grinder...Sometimes it's a pain but it's better for him so I don't mind! He will even have his mouth open wide for the next bite! And sometimes he will squeeze his fists and growl at me if I don't feed him fast enough! LOL...Its funny, but I have no idea where he got it from!

Kaven is mostly sleeping through the night, but for some reason lately he hasn't...He is teething really bad so I think that has something to do with it...He has 4 teeth right now and 4 are on there way, they have already cut through just waiting for them to pop all the way up...So it's been a headache lately!

He LOVES to talk...Let me tell you!! He will talk your ear off! He says Mum, dada, nana, baba, bye, hi, na-night, ma(more), lala(dance), and just babbles a mile a minute! I don't know why but he used to call my mama, but then he stopped and started to call me Mum! But its really cute so I am not complaining...My dad is kinda bummed cuz he won't say poppa yet, but soon enough I tell him! He also love to wave"buh-bye"...

His favorite game is peek-a-boo, and our "band"...LOL...He will drag all the pots and pans out of the cubbord and the go lala so we can sing and bang on the pots and pans! Its really fun we do it on the kitchen floor so its easy to pick up! He also likes "this little piggy" and "pat-a-cake".

He crawls everywhere and is starting to take his first steps by himself...I don't think he is so sure of himself quit yet but soon enough...He walks the furniture and when you hold his hands, and if I let go of his hands he will keep walking until he realizes that I am not holding him anymore, so I don't know whats up with that but its ok...

Well I hope everyone is doing as good as we are! Hope to hear from you all soon!

For DS birthday we are going to have a party outside and hope it doesn't rain. If it does rain there is no way I am fitting everyone in our apartment. For food I am going to order a cold cut, fruit and veggie platters and maybe make some salads and have rolls for the cold cuts. I am going to make it easy on me. And I think I am only going to invite about 40 people. His brithday is June 10 so I am hoping for nice weather and we have a very large yard.

Kiera's b-day is june 14 and we plan on family and a few friends withsmall kids to come over for a barbque. We will probably have a theme decorated she has a my little pony book thats her favorite so I was thinking that.
DD has learned like 1 to 2 words a day this week it's crazy how fast she's getting it.
Uh-OH is her new favorite word. Unfortunatly it coincides with her new favorite game which is throw my bottle, sippy, paci, ect them say uh-oh then we have to pick it up over and over again.
