Sponsor jozi209 05-05-2006, 10:18 PM I have had my laser/electrolysis on every part of my body (for 5 years). can't be in the sun 1 monh prior or post laser treatment-so bad to have it done during the summer if you want to be in the sun. that being said, i tan 2 days after my treatments and nothing happens, but i think its my skin type that can handle it. what area are you planning on getting don? i can give you more tps if i know the area, goals, skin/hair type, etc. it hurts in some areas more than others; be wary of practicioners who will turn down the heat because it hurts you too much. either suck it up or buy a product like "emla" which is a numbing cream. this must be put on 1.5 hrs before the procedure to work. its expensive ($50 a small tube) but worth it for areas like your bikini. keep in min d for best results, you also should follow a treatment pattern of going in ev ery 4-8 weeks depending on the area-meaniong, be prepared to pay up to $800 every 4-8 weeks. electrolysis takes longer, hurts more, but i LOVE it. Laser has its great points too. let me know if you want more details. bye daystar91 05-06-2006, 12:43 PM I have an apointment to have my armpits done..Then after that i was thinking my legs..My skin is very fair and sensitive..I'm not hairy but i would like to achive the goal of not having to shaving ever again..I'm a little nervous about this whole thing..I was really wishing it was going to be pain free..What do you mean about the heat???THanks STaM 05-07-2006, 01:53 AM I'm doing my armpits & legs...it is not pain free but in the armpit area it hurts mainly in the middle zone...and it is a small area so it is bare-able...
