It's early but It's my second day without purging. Prior to yesterday I was purging every single day for over a year. Yesterday I went all day without purging at all. It's such a hard thing to overcome but I know with God's strength I can keep going! Anyone else starting recovery? I can't believe I got through that day! Here's to today!

Congratulations on the one day. Keep in front of you the fact that recovery is a JOURNEY with hills and valleys. If you keep callling on God He will be faithful, even when the enemy tells you He is not.
Also remember if and when you purge again, that falling and getting up is all a part of it. Stoping cold turkey and just being done is very unusual. Give grace to yourself on this journey and you will make it.
Hang in there! Please think of this: you don't want the sum of your life to read "did she purge, or didn't she?" That sounds absurd, doesn't it? Isn't just being alive worth more than worrying all the time about what we weigh: what others think of us? I hope you can find the things that really matter in life. You can make this purging the thing that breaks you: but please don't. You've got to stop purging: because you're worth more than that! Value life: it may be the only life you get. Love yourself, period.
