Sponsor tUrRrRa 05-06-2006, 12:23 AM Hi! Do you have a straightening iron? They are definitely the best tool to have to give you straight hair! I would try Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine to make your hair as sleek and shiny as possible. Most people use a flat paddle brush to make hair straighter, but I use a round brush since it grasps my hair better, and I just use it to brush through my hair like normal. What I do is let my hair air dry, then I flat iron it in sections. Make sure to use a heat protectant (I use VO5 Miracle Mist). I finish it off with Biosilk Silk Therapy to make hair smooth and frizz free. kal2120 05-06-2006, 02:04 AM Yes straight iron is the way to go. Make sure you use a heat tamer spray first so you dont fry your hair. Tresemme makes a good one. imawake 05-06-2006, 11:37 AM anyhting but a straightener? KimC2005 05-06-2006, 02:52 PM You can blow dry it using a round brush or paddle brush.. I guarantee though it won't stay straight blow drying it though. kriscrou21 05-06-2006, 06:03 PM Hi, Ok, first let me say, I have tried EVERYTHING since I can remember and now i have a perfect routine because my hair is perfect now - shiny and straight. I have naturally frizzy, wavy hair. 1.) Shampoo and Condition - I use pantene moisture 2.) Let hair air-dry for about 1/2 hour 3.) Put in some sort of heat protection in your hair - I use pantene restoratives breakage defense 4.) Blowdry any way 5.) Use a CERAMIC hair straightener - they are expensive, but the other $20 ones don't work. Its a good invetment (about $80) - it works wonders!! Good luck tUrRrRa 05-06-2006, 09:11 PM Yeah you can definitely straighten it by blow drying, but a straightening iron keeps it the straightest and smoothest. Even using a cheap ceramic one before I bought my Chi helped make it straighter than blow drying alone. Just make sure to use good products when blow drying to make sure it doesn't frizz during the day. I use a round brush for blow drying when I do it. imawake 05-07-2006, 12:28 AM i dont want straight hair with a straitener, too much hassle. i jsut dont want it as wavy and frizzy. like ny small thins or shamppos i can use or do? |
