It was then that I began to see that this was having a negative affect on my health. Kathrin74 05-06-2006, 12:53 AM Are you taking an SSRI antidepressant? This happened to me when I first increased my dose of Prozac. I noticed that when I avoided taking aspirin at the same time it didn't happen anymore. But yes, nutrition factors can certainly lead to symptoms like that. kathrin curlyboo999 05-06-2006, 03:20 PM pppppppppppppppppppppppp Jonistyle4 05-06-2006, 04:24 PM no honey, you DON'T have to be emaciated to be anorexic. that's a common misperception that people have. so just because you aren't drastically underweight, it doesn't mean you aren't exempt from other side-effects of anorexic practices (ie: not eating enough). at a healthy weight, you can still experience the exact same negative health problems as someone who is 20 lbs underweight. and they're VERY serious problems by the way (not to make you more worried, i just want you to know that starving yourself, regardless of your body weight, can cause really detrimental problems) i HIGHLY recommend you go into your doctor immediately and get it checked out. you just want to make sure you're okay, right? so don't worry about it, just get in and make sure you're medically okay, alright? keep us updated. Kathrin74 05-06-2006, 04:30 PM I agree, get it checked by a doctor. You probably have an iron deficency (sp) and your lack of nutrition has messed up your hormones. Get yourself some help to get back to a healthy eating plan and you should start feeling a lot better. Kathrin74 05-07-2006, 03:15 PM Maybe you meant 2000 calories? |
