Yahuh 05-06-2006, 08:22 AM Some babies don't take in a lot of air when eating and just aren't big burpers. My dd has never needed much burping and at 6 mo. I can't even tell you the last time I tried burping her. MJCota 05-06-2006, 09:15 AM My ped said if after one min. they do not burp, then they don't have too. My ds who is 2 months burps very well and sometimes he just does it on his own. JuniorsMommy929 05-06-2006, 07:03 PM LOL my son was horrible to burp, i stopped at like 3 months really, he always burped on his own weepyone 05-07-2006, 09:22 AM my health visitor said you only need to burp at most once during bottle and at the end. she says rub their back for 5 mins if nothing happens you will find when they are next picked up and wind will escsape then anyway. friday13 05-07-2006, 10:18 AM I find that if I don't burp her well - (my girl is 14 weeks tomorrow).... she will burp up when sleeping - and since she sleeps on her tummy - that wakes her up - !! so I have to really try to get it all out of her - or else its a mess... yuck. |
