Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my post.

It seems to be an on going thing! Every night (usually it is at night, on the rare occasion it is earlier in the day) I break out in these most uncomfortable hives (that's what I'm calling them, it could be something else completely) starting on my arms near my elbow joints, and eventually spread to every extremity of my physical being (even the insides of my eyelids itch!). My dermatologist is pretty much at a loss as to what is going on, and has been giving me just topical creams, which do nothing whatsoever. I have taken something else (Flucanozol I believe?), which did absolutely nothing for me...

I'm utterly miserable! This has been going on for over a year... Does anyone have ANY suggestions as to what I should do?

I had the exact same problem a few years ago. I would only get them at night, and creams did nothing.

Eventually I took an antihistamine (allergy pill) and this solved the problem. Hives are most common in the allergy season.

So try an allergy pill, you've got nothing to lose.

I've taken a bunch of allergy meds before, and nothing seemed to work :(

Most antihistamine tablets arent too good ive found

ask your doctor for fexofendine 180mg tablets they are strong and stops the itching ive been using them for months and they work very well

dont bother with creams they are useless

Thanks for the reply :)

I've had the same results with topical creams... They work for all of 10 seconds., then its back to the itching! I'll leave her a message about your suggestion. Thanks! :0)
