I don't get sick very often but I caught a cold from someone at Church last week (they said it was allergies ... ). Anyway Saturday I noticed I had a slight fever. I also became aware of my heartbeat which seemed very strong or forceful in my chest. When I'm sitting or laying down it is really slow - like 56 bpm. If I just stand up and walk accross the room though it goes up to like 120. Is this normal? Should I be at all concerned? What could be causing this? I am 25, f, don't smoke or drink, exercise daily, and am in otherwise good health.

did you start having these symptoms before or after a person at church told you that you may have caught allergies off of them?

Well, they didn't tell me I "caught allergies" from them. They were sick at church and said it was "just allergies." A couple days later, I came down with the exact same symptoms - watery/itchy eyes, runny/stuffy nose, etc. About a day after first getting these symptoms I realized I had a fever, and about the time I realized that is also when I noticed the heart stuff. So I'm thinking it correlates to the fever somehow??
