Hi,
I have a history of sleep problems and am on a waiting list to get my sleep tested in a lab and by a neurologist. Meanwhile...
Any advice on ways to get to sleep but avoid next day drowsiness? I sometimes take over the counter sleep meds or prescription Ativan to sleep at night bc I have a constant urge to sleep during the day and stay awake at night, but this seems to be a vicious cycle, just making me more tired during the day. Still, I want a way to get a good NIGHT'S sleep and yet also be awake during the day.
I am constantly fatigued during the day and then more awake at night.
One thing I am just trying is melatonin. it seems to help me fall asleep--any danger of next day drowsiness though? Thanks!
