1. I think I heard somewhere recently that bumps on the back of your arms can indicate cancer (I think ovarian). Is this true? I've always had little bumps on my upper arms and never thought of it as more than just crappy skin. Could it be an indication of something else?

2. Since I was thinking about the bumpy arms thing, I was looking at my arms and noticed that my veins are extremely visible. The veins on the side of my elbows, on the top and bottom of my wrists and on top of my hands. They are greenish in color and are even raised on the tops of my hands. Is this normal? I don't have anyone to compare to at the moment.

3. On the View this morning, they had a segment on skin care. They mentioned something called white camellia nut oil. It's supposed to be a good moisturizer, it can clear up breakouts and even help with stretchmarks. They made it seem like a miracle product. And tea tree oil is supposed to do many of the same things, plus it cures dandruff. Do these things really work for what they say they do? I'd be most interested in clearing up the breakouts and dry skin on my face. Is it worth checking into?

Thanks to anyone who can help. And if it's relevant, I'm a 19-year old female.

I'm sorry but I don't know if bumps on your skin can indicate cancer, maybe you should ask your doctor?

I use to have little bumps on my legs, I never thought anything of it but I started to drink bottle water and they went away. Maybe this is a sign of dehydration?

My skin is the same :( For me it is because my skin is becoming thin, I have been putting emu oil on my skin and it is starting to thicken up so the veins are not as visual.

I can't commit on the white camellia nut oil but I have oily skin and suffer from breakouts, I use a emu oil moisturising cream on my face and it has really helped with stopping breakouts, emu oil is great for dry skin as well. Do a search on google about emu oil to find all the benefits of the oil. I use the pure oil on my body and the moisturising cream on my face. When I first started using the emu oil, I was putting it on my face but it made me breakout a lot so I changed to the moisturising cream.

Thanks for replying! I'm not gonna worry about the bumps on my arms. I can't remember them ever not being there. And they're really not even noticeable.

Thanks for the tip on the emu oil. I was reading some other threads on camellia oil and emu oil came up a bunch of times. It seems like it's helpful for many of the same things. I did read that the emu oil made one person's facial hair grow more which is something I don't want, but using on my arms seems like it would do the trick. Is it also good for stretch marks? I have some stretch marks on my back and inner thighs for no apparent reason. It'd be nice to get rid of those.

In case anybody else is wondering, the camellia oil is working great for me so far. It's only been two days, but already I don't have any more dry flakey skin on my face. And all the blackheads/clogged pores on the side of my nose come out a lot easier. I'm hoping all my pores will get unclogged and smaller if I keep using the stuff. The way I used it was to pour a few drops on my hands and rub it into my face after I wash it. That seems to be working, but if anybody knows of a more efficient way, I'd like to hear it. :)

I have been putting the emu oil on my stretch marks and they are a lot lighter and they look smaller, studies have shown that emu oil prevents stretch marks and aids in diminishing or completely erasing stretch marks. The emu oil moisturising cream has also made my pores smaller on my face.

Thanks. I'll try that. :)
