One in each lung. The doctor said they were nodes, and that they should be checked by Cat scan to see if they had moved into the lymph glands.. I suspect that she is gently and patiently leading my wife into a more painful reality.
My wife has had a persistent cough for about 5 months and she has had pains in her chest. The doctor told her that she has over extended lungs.
What are lung nodes? Are there such things? Are nodes a euphomistic and kind word for tumors?

I think anything that is of unknown pathology can be considered a tumor. From what I have read the size of the nodules are the key. I have them, started with one, then three then 6. The pulminologist followed them with cat-scans every three months. I am coming up on a year now with no other evidence of cancer, so I am feeling better about it. How big are the lung nodules?
