I thought I might be having low blood sugar symptoms so a nurse friend of mine suggested I take my glucose levels for a few days to see a pattern. I am now very
confused. Yesterday morning my fasting level was 124, today it is 129. However, one hour after eating breakfast the level fell to 123 the first day and 121 the second day. Last night at bedtime my level was 95 before I had a snack and up to 101 an hour later. This afternoon two hours after lunch it was 144. Is any of this normal?

Your gluclose levels are a bit high--suggesting a bit of diabetes. Go to DR. and get a fasting Gluclose one done.

Thank you for the reply. But, how do you have a bit of Diabetes? Is there such a thing? Thank you for any help you can give me.

I believe the implication was that you may be a borderline diabetic, since your blood sugar is slightly elevated. Often people are able to lower their blood sugar back to normal by simply changing their diet. This is often accomplished by cutting down on sugar intake and carbohydrates. So, the sooner you get it under control, the better off you will be.

Thank you for the reply. I am on a low-carb sugar controlled diet already. I was having symptoms such as cold hands and feet, nightmares, headaches and what I can only describe as "Brain Fog" along with extreme hunger pains. The other day my husband was having surgery and I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast. I went to the Hospital cafeteria and was getting a drink out of the drink dispenser and wanted some ice. I could not figure out how to get the ice in the cup and then after making an embarrasing mess all over the floor someone helped me get the ice and I ate something and then could not figure out how to get the tray on the tray rack. I was so embarrased by my inability to perform such simple tasks I avoided the cafeteria the rest of the time. This is why I thought I had low blood sugar. Diabetes runs in my family but I was pretty sure I did not have that for some reason. Also, after I eat my blood sugar actually goes down instead of up.
