Hi I am on the Animas Pump. I have never heard of your pump. How old are you? I have been on the pump for 7 years.

Him Melanier, Im 49. My pump Is made by Mini Med. I was on the Mini Med 508, but Im trying out the Paradigm to see If I like it better. This one has just came out not to long ago. This one Is waterproof, and a little bit easier to use. It's nice to meet you

I am new here and am thinking about going on the minimed 508 it's the only one offered in canada right now. How did it work for you?

The mini med 508, has been working pretty good for me. Im just changing , cuz they said the Paradigm Is waterproof, and a little easier to use,so I thought I would try It. The 508 you change about every 3 to 4 days. I found wearing It 4 Inches above my waist, with a waist belt works for me. I wouldn't go back to shots even If they paid me to. It sure does make life alot easier.If I were you I would go for It.
