I saw your post about going to the doctor and getting your new cast. I hope the reason you didn't post Tuesday is because you felt so good that you slept all day! How is your heel? Kim

I hope the reason you didn't post Tuesday is because you felt so good that you slept all day! How is your heel? Kim Hi, Kim. I thought I posted, but maybe I didn't. Brain farts are a regular part of life. I slept a couple of hours, then awakened with the same routine. Sat in a slobbering stupor for awhile, then cleaned the kitchen, dusted the great room, vacuumed rugs and mopped the hardwood greatroom floor, cleaned my bathroom, and straightened my room, removing all the extra pillows from my bed. I started on my left side, a pillow sandwiched between my good leg & my bad. Woke up a couple hours later on my back, nerve afire. I give up. Today, I've not done much. I went out on front porch, took a smoke, and for the first time, a yellow dog came up to the stairs. Looked like a yellow lab, pretty young, but nasty. Growled at me and slunk away. I near had a heart attack, wondering if I'd had to fight, would my crutches have been enough to drive him away? So now I only go out on the deck in back. Tonight I will "sleep" sitting on the sofa, foot dangling, and this should prevent the pain. If it does, I will leave well enough alone. If it doesn't, I will call Doc and push for a bivalve or wedge cut. I'm going to go eat now. I hope everyone is doing well, and I will get caught up on everyone tomorrow, I'm a couple of days off. Looks like some of you are still struggling, and I sympathise. Glad, though, to hear that some are seeing that light!!! Sleep well. Kim |
