Well my 7 month old baby boy can say mom, mama, mommy...but not dad or dada...so..well when he wants dad, he calls him mama,lol...We are trying our hardest to teach him to say dada...its not working, i find it funny, but its not easy to know if he wants me or dad...lol :wave:

I think thats funny. My DD calls me dada. But my older son calls DH Chad.My Dh gets so mad and says I am DAD not CHAD and DS laughs. :rolleyes:

My DS did the same thing except everyone was Dada. My friend's son was the same as yours calling both parents Mama. My DS is now 13 months and he calls us by the right name and has been for a couple of months now. It'll happen eventually but it is kind of confusing yet funny while they're in this stage.

My 14 month DD is still not calling me anything...I'd kill for a mama. DS called me mama from 5 months of age. Now he likes calling DH and I by our first names
