Hi everyone.
I have a question. DD will not drink formula or milk now. I give it to her everyday and the most we can get her to drink is 3 oz. She will drink clear fluids but as soon as she tastes it she put the milk down. Sometimes I can get her to drink some vanilla soy milk but not always. What do I do. DS hates milk and will not drink it so I give him lots of yogurt ans cheeses but can she live on that yet?

From our boys being at a daycare for 7 years (well the oldest atleast)I have seen a LOT of kids that do not like to drink milk. Try adding strawberry syrup to it. That also depends on age. I started our 2 yr old on milk at 9 months, per the Dr, but we had no problem with it. Try adding syrup, that was the magic ingredient with the kids I have come across! :) GOOD LUCK!

She is 11 months. I hate to add a bunch of sugar stuff to it to make her drink it. Do they only need the milk for the fat and calcium? Can I give her other things instead?

when i weaned my son from the breast at 5 months, he didn't like formula and it also constipated him, so i took his great-grandmothers advice and mixed in a little karo syrup. i know you said you hate to add sugars, but im not sure what else to do, and it worked for me.

I just bought the stage 2 formula today and she drank it right up. I am not sure if it is different or her teeth were bothering before when I offered her the regular formula but she still won't drink the milk. I only bought it because it was buy one get one free. I guess I'll go get more and keep paying for formula for a couple more months.

Milk is very important for a growing baby, especially little girls. The calcium and the fat is both necessary for healthy bones, teeth, and overall health. Maybe she just didn't like the taste of the regular formula or maybe it was too warm or too cold when you served it to her.

I have been trying cold, warm, sippy cup, straw and bottle. This stage 2 formula says it is high in calcium and iron. It only comes with the DHA & ARA and not plain so it 12.00 for a little can. She drinks it all though. It has to be different because it doesn't dissolve the same as the reg. good start and it gets frothy.
