Hi,
I am new to the board and I hope this is not a double post! I have had many injections in my feet over the years and I know they can be painful at the time; however, I have a new situation. I had two injections two days ago at the base of my second toe. One injection on each side and they were cortisone and local anesthetic. My doctor is great and he felt this might stop the burning and pain I was feeling in this toe. Twelve hours later, I woke up when the sheet brushed my toe. I came stright up out of bed and walking was terribly painful. I did not go back to bed all night. My doctor's office said this is normal and may last a few days or a couple of weeks. Has anyone ever had this happen before and if so, what did you do to ease the pain?
Thanks for your help....
