View Full Version : Foreskin questions

Hi. I'm an uncircumsized 21 year old male and I've just recently had sex without a condom for the first time. I've always had a tight foreskin and before this I had never fully pulled back my foreskin beyond the head of my penis. The sex was a little painful at first because of the sensitivity of the head and my tight foreskin finally being fully pulled back all the way, but it wasn't that bad with lube.

Anyway, on to my question. Before having sex yesterday my foreskin would always retract fully so that little to none of the head was exposed, but now it won't retract fully, leaving about a third of the head exposed. This is a problem because my head is still quite sensitive and it's uncomfortable to touch (or even to walk around).

Is this normal? Should I just apply lube until the sensitivity goes away and not worry about it? Is there a way I can stretch the foreskin so that it covers more of the head? I really am sort of clueless. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try keeping it lubricated with vaseline and baby oil, that will help. It will also help to keep it clean. When masturbating, do you pull your foreskin back all the way? If you do that will help to stretch it.

Right now I'm using KY as a lubricant. Any advantage to vaseline or baby oil? Right now I can retract it fairly easily when flaccid, but it is uncomfortable when erect so I don't pull it back all the way when masturbating. (But I will try to work towards that.) It's actually harder to masturbate now because before my frenulum was very "stiff" and wouldn't let my foreskin stretch too much, but now it allows the foreskin to stretch a lot so it can be a little bit painful.

I would also like to report that the foreskin seemed to gain some elasticity since I had sex (abused it), and it now coveres almost all of the head when flaccid, which for me is a good thing. :D

You really need to stretch, so that you don't ever need to think about your foreskin.
It should glide effortlessly over the head, for sex and masturbation. You can't use baby oil or vaseline with a condom, they will eat right through it. You also can't use them in conjunction with stretching, or your fingers will slide off. With a little consistent work, your penis will be easy to maintain, and reward you with a lot of joy.

Thanks for the advice guys. I've always felt a little self-conscious about my penis, and I'm already starting to feel better knowing I have the ability to change it. I'll report back in a few weeks (months?) with results.

Why be self-conscious about it? There are another 4 billion or so men with a penis similar to yours. Your body follows the blueprint for all males. In my opinion, you are one of the lucky ones.

I’m with tommy on this one. I was circumcised at birth and wish I hadn’t been. The Good Lord knew what he was doing when he created us and he didn’t make a mistake. It’s unfortunate that you feel self-conscious because you’re surrounded by so many cut guys. But really, it’s us cut guys who are the ones who should feel self conscious around you! Thank your parents for not having something done to you that is usually 100% unnecessary!

Well, I've been stretching for about 5-10 minutes twice per day, and I've definitely noticed an improvement. It's a little looser and definitely less oversensitive. I still can't pull it back all the way when erect, but I think I'm slowly making progress. I may go to the doctor to get some steroid cream to speed up the process.

Also, my glans was a little itchy while I'd been slowly cleaning away what seemed to be a thin layer of smegma. I thought I had a rash at first. It seems to be nice and clean now though.

The comment I made before about masturbation being uncomfortable no longer applies. It was only like that for a couple of days.

Overall, everything seems to be going smoothly. I think I'll need at least another month of stretching though.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys.
