Hi Everyone,
I have been suffering with anxiety and hypochondria for years, and I always diagnose myself. Has anyone felt spasms in their throat. It feels like spastic pressure. It doesn't really hurt but it feels uncomfortable and like I am choking. I am not finding a lot of info on this on the web. Does anyone have this or know what it is.

anxiety often causes throat problems, especially feeling a lump in the throat when there isnt one
swallowing and talking problems are also common
however, remember that anxiety and hypochondria sufferers can actually still get real illnesses
I know a woman like you who had rhumatic fever that was never diagnosed at the time, the problems from it being judged as just nerves :o
