ok this is kind of a pregnancy question but as i am 9 weeks pp i feel you ladies here on ic board will be the best people to help me out. i am starting to get a little worried. i bled for 5 weeks after having ds then last week i thought i was getting my period it was real light brown and i only wore panty liners it lasted 2/3 days and there looked to be some ewcm to. now i am starting to go to the toilet a lot to wee but when i get there am hardly doing anything. i am freaking i could be pg again this is not what i want if i am dh will have his neck rung. i was weeing a lot like this the first time i got pg (ended in m/c). do you think the bleed could be implantation bleeding as i never got this in my 2 times of being pg before. i know i am old enough to now better but dh i used withdrawal for years and i only ever got pg the 2 times i wanted to and got pg straight away both times. i know i am rambling i should just test but as my cycle is not back to normal i am not sure if the test would be accurate. help!!
i guess my 2 questions are

what is implantation bleeding like?

when do you think would be a good time to test?

My implantaion bleeding was for like a couple hours and light pink spotting. I think it would be ok to take a test now since it has been 4 weeks since you have stopped bleeding right. It seems we have all had our scares since being on this board.
Congrats on the new baby(the 9 week old)hehe good luck.

Uh oh Weepy! Have you gone and got yourself into trouble?! If you think you had implantation bleeding (sorry, can't help you with that one) then wait to test until you are 14 days post ovulation. Implantation happens around the 7th to 10th day after conception so 3 or 4 days after your bleeding should give you an accurate result.
Make sure you let us know! It's hard to even think about being pregnant again after just having a baby isn't it!
I hope you and dh and Sam are doing well :)

I'm going through the same thing, only DH and I have not had intercourse (we tried, with a condom, but it hurt and haven't done it since). Anyway, I bled 2 weeks PP, then at 6 weeks I thought I was getting my period, but like yours it was brownish and never amounted to much. It's gone now, and I just have the discharge.

(Holy cow, too much information... LOL!)

I think it's all very normal and hormonal. Brown blood is also old blood, so I think it's part of the post partum bleeding thing (however gross it is!).

If you're worried then wait and take a test, but I would chalk it up to normal PP stuff. Our hormones are still outta wack, and I've heard (don't quote me on this though) that anything less then 8 weeks is considered PP bleeding, not a period.

Weepyone, I have been wondering the same thing about myself. I had my son May 5th, then some time in April, bleed for a day and nothing afterward. It started out light red then turned brown. I thought it was my period at first, then I thought it was normal after pregnancy stuff, but now lately, I have also been going to the bathroom alot. However, I am guilty of the no, no. Not long after ds was born, because of work my husband was out of town for a couple of days, then when he got back a welcome back hug just naturally turned into much more.
Could breastfeeding attribute to such symtom?
