Hey ya'll, since I was born I've had trouble breathing. They put me on breathing treatments 3 times a day when I was younger, and i've used inhalers. Im, now, 21 years old and I rarely use my inhaler; however, lately i've been having asthma attacks like no bodies business. I thought at first it that it maybe due to stress but I'm really not that stressed out. I do yoga and meditate on a daily basis. The attacks last for about 10 minutes, if not longer. I take my inhaler and turn the hot water in the shower. I try to avoid the inhaler b/c I hate the way it makes me feel afterwards. I hate not being able to breathe and I hate feeling this way. I'm starting to get really concerned (perhaps its just me being), but does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be causing it or what I should do? thank you!

Are you on a daily med - Flovent, Advair, etc? If not, that's most likely your problem. They are preventive measures while the rescue inhaler is just for an attack. The pollens being the way they are this spring, lots of folks are having trounle. I'd head to your pulomonologist and get evaluated.

Hi. I have mild asthma. I often find the change in weather causes some
major problems. I dont know if you are into aromatherapy but I find
that cypress, marjoram or frankincense in an oil burner really helps. I
also have an aroma air fuser, you just plug it in pop a few drops on and it puts
the aromas into the air. Really works well for me. I buy my oils from
scentsiblesolutions.co.uk. The products from here are much cheaper
than the health shops or other sites I have found. I actually rang the
lady and she advised me what would be best to use. Let me know how
you go on.

Anybody thought of filtering the air with a machine? many to choose from ,but try to choose one with ionizer option. When out side a dust mask might work to filter the air when outside . ;)
