I have been taking Notrel 1/35, which is a generic version og Ortho Novum 1/35, for about 6 months.
There are no refills left on that Rx and in the mean time I switched doctors. So I called my new doctor's office this morning and the nurse said she was going to call the pharmacy with the Rx for the name brand, Ortho Novum 1/35 today.

Does it make a differnce whether I take the generix vs. the name brand? I would not be missing any pills with this switch. In fact, this month I'm planning on skipping the placebo week so I won't get my periodf while I'm down the shore for Memorial day weekend.

If you read this and you think it's a bad idea for any reason, please let me know. Do you think I will get sick ot suffer from side effects or anything? That wouldn't be any fun while on vacation.

Any advise is appreacited. Thanks :)

I switched from gereric mini pill to brand name full dose, to another brand name full dose, and am now on a generic brand of Ortho Tri Cyclen. I didn't have any problems or side effects due to the transitions of the full doses.
