does anyone know if guilt can cause anxiety panic?? i guess i feel guilty about my girlfriend because i know shes not the right one for me but im still with her because i feel guilty .. can this cause my panic?? i dont know why but i have a weird feeling shes part of the reason.. thanks

i, personally, think that guilt can cause anxiety and even a panic attack, but i am no doctor. but i know with myself, if i dwell on something....like you are about feeling guilty over your g/f....it can lead to a panic attack for me.

I have some advice you dont have to take it but you cant help if you no longer feel right in the relationship peoples feelings change.I think you be doing better by your g/f and yourself to be honest with her about how you feel and maybe you two can even depart without alot of hard feeling.Reallt even if she is highly upset it is better I think for her to know the truth and get through it and move on then to be in this relationship with you thinking everything is fine if you feel this way now chances are it wont change and you will just be with her longer and it will be harder on you both later when the break up does happen
