I've had an inkling I might have an allergy to something, no idea what, for a while. Generally the only symptoms are very mild, deep bruising under the eyes, a bit puffy, swollen red nose (Up and down in severity but ever present in both cases) sometimes a bit runny as well as constipation. (I've had the latter all my life and the red nose/ puffiness since about 10 leading me to think diet)
My GP said it was a skin problem and sent me to a dermatologist who then told me it was just acne prone skin though very obviously not acne.... (And no early stage rosecea and I had thought it could be) leaving me stuck trying to figure it out myself.
Changed my diet around a lot. Cutting it down to basics; brown Rice, Chicken, Tuna, Bread, Eggs and Cottage cheese, nothing else. Cutting out the bread seemed to help which is what I've been experimenting with this last week or so but today I ate some corned beef just to get it out of the cupboard and almost immediatedly it flared up again. (Rudolph-like nose, slightly bunged up and and puffy eyes).
Now I've no idea what it could be. I had been reading about gluten/wheat but can't see that being in corned beef? (And going into my 20s wihout it ever being foud out isn't likely for something like that is it?)
Can anyone here deduce anything from the above and help me out?
