Hiya Harry,
The biopsy results should come back this week but from what they could see with the scope everything looked normal. As you can imagine I am really pleased about this but as I still have the watery exploding stools I feel I am no further on.
As I have an auto immune thyroid disorder, they are looking into the possibility of it being a food intolerance. The Dr said that I may not have coeliacs but that doesnt mean that I can tolerate gluten or wheat. They want me to try an elimination diet and to introduce foods gradually to see if it triggers a response.
Hope you are feeling ok and are having a good weekend
take care

Oh Daisy... you're welcome for the bit I helped with. Hope you figure out the source of the problem. Wheat can apparently be an issue for many people, even without full-blown celiac disease. My homeopath suggested I drastically reduce my consumption, but that would be too hard for me. I like wheat products and lack the discipline it takes to replace them with something else. As long as I don't suffer terribly, I'll be having shredded wheat for brekkie... lol.

I will miss my bagels for brekkie midwest1 but I know what you mean about the discipline thing. I am gonna give up the ciggies too lol may as well get all the suffering out of the way in one go.

Hey Daisy!
Glad your colonoscopy went well for you, sorry for lateness of my reply to you.
I hope all your tests come back ok? I will have to wait till late june early july now due to admin error on hospital side for my barium and follow up.
Glad you had good news :)
