Anyone try Prolotherapy for plantar fasciitis treatment?

Prolotherapy tightens up ligaments. So it seems to me that it is the opposite of what you would need for PF. If I understand it correctly, PF means the ligament is too tight. I do not have any experience with it, just read about on the Internet.
