Hi Everyone,
It has been a while since I have visited the posting board. Stan started his chemo on Monday and it did not drag him down until Wednesday. He said the fatigue is nothing he can describe. And of course during all of this our washer decided to leak all over the garage so I think I spent 2 days out there by myself since Stan was so weak cleaning up everything and had a new washer delivered on Thursday. I was also in the middle of planning our son's 1st Communion which was today so I had no time for anything! We prayed that Stan would be strong enough to attend the Communion and the lunch we had booked at a restaurant...sure enough he wakes up this morning with bad back pain, but he managed to get thru the mass and the luncheon. He lies about his aches and pains, which are coming more often and much stronger when they do hit. His liver seems to be getting more pain, which is a not a good sign, but we are praying for the 10% that this chemo will do some good for him!
I want to wish everyone out there a beautiful day with their family and even though I have not been on lately you are all in my prayers and thoughts daily. It is a comfort to know I have this board to jump to when I am at a low moment in my life. I see there are so many new people on the posting board which saddens me, but I see some are doing quite well too!
Need to run for now, but wanted to give you some sunshine from Orange County, CA and brighten your day!
Kim
