hi

about 6 months ago my penis was red and sore, I thought this was thrush tried canestan, this cleared up my problem but when i stopped using it the red sore itchy patches came back. I went to the doctor who prescribed me with some antifungle cream which did the same as canestan so I went back a further 2 time each time getting different cream. Im now obsessed with the head of my penis checking it every time I have whizz, sometimes its a little red and others it seems normal (I then ask myself what is normal as Im convinced normal should be skin colour) Now I seem to suffer from premature ejaculation and its bloody frustrating, my penis seems so sensitive maybe cos Im obsessed with it being normal.

Before going to the doctors i went to a GU clinic and had the usual tests carried out, all tests came back negative and I was told to was it in warm salty water. This can be painful if its already sore but is it good advice?

Should the penis go red after sex?

is what im describing normal or could it be balantis (remember its not itchy / sore)

Cheers

dude that is exactly what i have. i got some some antifungal cream at walgreens that didn't work, got some prescription cream (Econazole/desonide) that didn't help either, then got some generic pills for diflucan (flucanazole sp?). none of this has helped. i know what you are going through i check my penis like every 10 minutes just to see if it's changed at all. mine doesn't itch either and its not sore, but after masturbation it gets all red and flarred up (or after sex one time, when it started).

man if you find anything that helps or anything at all please post back because i need help also.

yes, the penis should go red after sex, from increased blood flow.
normal for the head is not skin color, it is more red or reddish purple.
