Please Help!

I'm getting married August 12th and I thought I would check to see when i'm suppose to get my period and it turns out that I am going to get it on my wedding day.

Does anyone know if its ok to take the patch back to back so that i can skip my period. When i was on the pill i use to do this but i haven't been able to find anything that says its ok.

The last thing i want to be worring about on my wedding day is having to change a tampon.

:(

It's unadvisable to use it back to back but you can switch your patch change day. OR you could discontinue the patch for a week while either abstaining or using other contraception. That way you'll have the entire week after your wedding before starting your flow.

My anniversary is August 12th...it'll be 11 years this year :D . Congratulations on your engagement!! I hope your wedding plans are coming together smoothly  .

yes, you can use it back to back. I did so once because I had a vacation I was going on and it worked successfully without messing up my cycle. Or, you can start now and up the change day by a day or two each cycle so that it comes on the week before and not the week of.

Thanks so much for responding.

I think i'm going to try and move my patch change day forward so that I get my period the week before.

Everything is coming together great!!! Thank you for asking :)

Thanks wakkochic17!

I'm going to try changing the day and see if that works and if not then i'll take my chances and wear it back to back.

I feel better taking the chance now that I know someone else has done it.

:)
