Hello. I am 32 years old and a smoker for 11 years. I had ARDS in 1998. I have been in the hospital 2 x's in a week. Had CT of chest for PE. The doctors tell me I don't have PE. I have multiple cyst like things on my right lung. What are the cyst things and what can be done about the cysts, if anything? Anyone have any suggestions or comments?

This isn't going to sound terribly helpful, but you don't mention it in your post.......try giving up smoking!
Maybe you have in which case, I'm sorry I can't be more help. If not, I reckon you'd be amazed at the amount of things smoking is responsible for and it may well be that, whatever this thing is that you have, if you give up the ciggies, it'll go away and never come back.
You owe it to yourself.
