my mother (70 yrs of age) has severe pain in her right foot and her hand shakes off and on. she has been diagonesed with diebetic neuropathy, has anyone come across any medication to control the pain and treatment for recovery. Please any information would be helpful, she resides overseas, and i visit her every 3 months in hope of finding some pain relief and steady recovery. thanks,

gabapentin works for me.

I have extreme nerve damage to my left foot. If it were not for Gabapentin, I would be out of my mind...with it, I have some mild discomfort. I have taken gazillions of medications over the years, and I consider Gabapentin a true "wonder drug".
