I am a 24yr old male. Yesterday at work, I experienced a very fightening sensation, that left me feeling very strange for about 2 hours.

It's very hard to describe, but it was as though electricity was being passed through my head, it lasted maybe 5 seconds at the most, and I was concious throughout. During the episode my head felt tight, and I was compelled to remain perfectly still. It was also accompanied by a sensation of falling backwards. Afterwards I was left feeling dizzy and light headed.

Any idea what it could be?

A friend has suggested that it may have something to do with spending too much time looking at VDU's. I prob spend about 13hrs a day looking at a computer monitor, could this be why I feel so dizzy?

I don't chew gum, or use artificial sweeteners, however, I do drink diet coke.
