I am diabetic, like I am sure all of you. I was wondering if anyone had troble conciving because you were diabetic, or if you had misscarriages or was everything great? I belive I am pregnant now and am not sure of the risks

I have not been pregnant since diagnosed but my doctor has told me that it is crucial to maintain perfect levels while pregnant. Many get put on insulin throughout the pregnancy. I know the first trimester is the most threatening, though you have to be under strict care the entire 9 months. Early detection of pregnancy is a must if you are a diabetic. You will work with your ob/gyn and your doctor you use for diabetes together. Through them you can have just as healthy a pregnancy as anyone else. We are considered high risk though so everyone does not have the same trouble/no trouble. Good luck to you.
