Paul,
It is so hard to say what those pains could be...only results of tests will truly tell you...amazing what stress can do to a body though. Please try to stay positive and calm (I know almost impossible at times!) during all the waiting. Have you mentioned the chest pains to your doctor? Have they given you any leads on to what the lump in the lower bowel could be...how did they find it? Sorry for so many questions....
Keep us posted and I do pray all comes out fine.
Kim

Hi Kim, Thank you for your reply, mentioned the chest pains at hospital yesterday, I found the lump myself around 4 weeks ago, thought I may have pulled a muscle or something so didnt rush to the doctor, Then started bloating after meals so got it checked, I asked if the lump was cancer and the doc said that I would have to wait for the results of the colonoscopy and ct scan, The tests will be completed on 1st of June then I have to wait until 20th of June before I see the doctor. almost 5 weeks I know I will be out of my head by then. I have had 2 CEA blood tests in two weeks, Do you know why they would do the same test twice in such a short space of time. Thanks for your help,, Please keep in touch, Paul

Paul,
Hhhhhmmm, did you get copies of the CEA results? You can ask for a copy as we ask for copies of all of my husbands blood results. There could be a number of reasons the did it twice, but you won't know until you ask...honestly...ask, ask and ask questions.
You do have such a delay in getting your tests done and then waiting for the results...wow, I feel lucky at how fast we have been able to get my husband's results so quickly. I am sorry to hear you have to wait so long. Is that the norm in the UK? I wouls almost think that since you are having the test on the 1st of June and if something were seriously wrong the doctor would call you as it only takes days for him to to get results from the scan. I guess in the meantime stay positive. I do hope you find some comfort in this posting board as it does me wonders...keep us posted and come visit when you need to chat. My prayers will be with you....
Kim
