I have been a diabetic for 23 years, insulin dependant, and I have finally decided to go on the pump. I have been doing some research and my Insurance covers Medtronic and Disetronic. I was first drawn to the Medtronic because of size, but when I mentioned it to my doctor, they said thats ashamed, because the Disetronic is more reliable... They said they have alot more problems with the Medtronic. I am ready to make a choice in the next couple of days, and still have to do a support class, but was wandering if anyone could give me some opinions on the two pumps.
