I have read many horrendous side effects of Yasmin; I've been on Yaz for about a week now and have not experienced any side effects (aside from having to urinate often!!)
Is it possible that the lower dose of Yaz could actually lower the chance of the common side effects occuring while taking Yasmin such as depression and sleepiness?

Yes.
The purpose of a lower-dosed pill is to decrease the side effects.

katy,
I do notice myself a little emotional since starting it... but I"m sure it's just hormonal and will balance itself out after some time>
did you notice any side effects during your first few weeks on yaz?
thanks

My acne is coming back. I"ve only been taking yaz for a week and a half.
I pray it will go away after my body gets adjusted...
