My doctor went over the back/shoulder pain and the soreness around the incisions, but I'm also having a crampy sort of pain where my gallbladder used to be. Is this normal?

yes its very normal i still have it and its been a week i guess it just needs time to heal.

You'll have it off and on for the duration. I call it phantom pain...like when someone loses a limb? Every now and then I just get this twinge and I know nothing is there....it's been over a year. Not to worry.

It's been a week today and I am still having some pain all across. This is so recent for you and me...it can take 3 weeks until the soreness from the surgery goes away. I am not taking pills anymore though. I need a clear head and hey made me groggy. The pain is slight.
