I have had herniated disks in my lower back a few times, no one believed me until I had MRI's to prove it. But anyway all of a sudden I had this pulled muscle feel in the right side of the back of my neck. Now the pain is very intense at times in the middle of my neck and right side, it radiates down my neck to my shoulder blade. My arm feels achy, and tingly most of the time. And at the base of my skull there is a place about the size of a half dollar that hurts to touch, or when I move my head. So I am thinking it is maybe muscle issues, but I am not familar with upper back problems, could it be something I should be seen for? It has been going on for about 5 days. No injury or strain I can remember. I was sitting at my desk at work and all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my neck and so I was kind of rolling my head to relax it and it just continued to get worse.
Thanks, I know there are alot of really knowledgeable people here so I thought I'd ask for some opinions.
