I just heard this morning that 3 people have contacted liver failure from Ketek. 1 died, 1 needed a liver transplant and one recovered!!! This is so scarey!!! I just went through 2 rounds of ketek for a super bad sinus infection and have used it 4 other times throughout the past 2 years. SHould I be concerned?!!! I am nervous!!! :confused:

If it makes you feel better, I would ask the doctor for some liver function tests. But I wouldn't worry. I suspect if you had problems, you would already being feeling some symptoms.

Thanks sneezy! After the panic went away I came to the same conclusion and will talk to my dr about getting some bloodwork done. It is most scarey that the people had problems back in January and my ENT had me on a double dose in March without telling me the risks!!!! :nono:
