hi, i have been suffering from chronic fatigue on and off for the past 6 months. when i get this my head feels heavy, no pain,just doesnt feel right and i feel tired. i do have mitral valve regruritation and an enlarged heart not sure if this is caused from that. i am on toprol xl 50 mg for palpatations but i was feeling sick even before i started the medicine. is there anything i can take to not feel so tired all the time? thanks

Have you spoken with your doctor about your fatigue? Perhaps he could recommend a modification in your medication or in the way you take it. It sounds like you may be having a reaction to your medication rather than CFIDS, although the time factor is appropriate. About.com has excellent information on CFIDS along with the list of symptoms. If you think you might have it, take your list to your doctor and discuss it with him. Best regards.
