I just had a bone biopsy on the T11 in my back. After the procedure have severe pain on my left side at the ribs. I cannot bend forward or sideways. Certain movements make the pain severe. Has anyone had this procedure and had this problem??? Hope the Dr. hasn't created a worse problem than I already had.

Hi Gcook...... not familiar with that procedure, but I am sure that by going in for biopsy, they may have hurt some muscle tissue and also taking some bone out will contribute too.. The doctor that gave you biopsy should have told you what to expect.. I had some simple facet injections with a very tiny needle, and was in pain for a week, and then started to get better... So it should get better... but, call doctor and ask if it is normal, and also, he may be able to give you some drugs to get you by..

I hope you feel better soon.

Maurice
