Several months ago I felt a burning while ejaculating. The burning subsided and for the next few weeks I had a discomfort. It felt like a mild pressure in my bladder or somewhat swollen feeling inside in or nearby the bladder. Along with this I started producing more pre-semen(clear fluid) than I usually do and I had a feeling of being more or less sexually aroused constantly. I feeling that is not comfortable as some might think. It is not quite the same as a normal arousal.
An odd thing is that after bowel movement this feeling of being aroused was and is stronger and also more pre-semen is coming out.
The burning was gone after a few weeks although I sometimes get it after an ejaculation. The mild pressure is still there more or less plus the arousal and the excessive amount of pre-semen.
Ejaculation two or more times in a row often hurts and can cause burning when I urinate afterwards.

I don't have any frequency of urination, slowing of the urinary stream, problems with erection, no sore testicles, low back pain.

I normally ejaculate two times per week.

I'm a 32 year old male with normal health. I don't smoke or drink. Doing some exercise. I eat normal healthy foods and am not overweight.

I have of cause seen a doctor and a urologist. The following was tried:
Prostate examination through the rectum.
Antibiotic
Urine was checked
Checked for Clamydia.
Pre-semen was checked.

The doctor don't know what else to do. Still he insures me that it has nothing to do with prostate cancer or that it can lead to such or enlarged prostate.
I still feel the urologist was a bit shallow in his examination, He didn't ask more than a couple of questions. So I didn't get to tell the hole story and didn't tell about the sexual arousal feeling as it is embarasing to talk about. Even with my doctor.

I have tried reading about prostate problems but I'm not quite sure it is that because I don't have most of the symptoms.
? Could it be an inflammation or fungus in my urethra, seminal vesiculitis, cronic congestion in prostate or is it some sort of prostatitis?

Are there any herbs or other drugs I can try out?

Axell:
I think you just have urethritis-- just inflammation of the urethra. Suggestion-- I would just use some over the counter antibiotic ointment and apply to the head of the penis twice a day. By the way... are you circumcized? If you are not, I would wonder if maybe you have another Sexually Transmitted Disease or Urinary Tract infection.

Good Luck, and let us know if it works.

CancerDad:

I don't see how something put in the tip of my penis should have any effect on the urethra near the bladder. But I'm willing to try. Do you have any names of ointments?

Axell:
Your urethra runs from your bladder to the tip of your penis (glans). Often times it gets irritated towards the glans. From my own experience, it gets red near the urethral opening on the glans. I have found it useful to just use an ointment of some sort to soothe that inflammation, especially after ejaculation when the ejaculate has ceased. It makes the burning go away. I personally have used an antibiotic ointment. Since you are from Denmark, and I am from the States, brand names will be different. You can ask your Pharmacist for Bacitracin or a tripple antibiotic such as Neosporin. Also, there is a good healing ointment called Aquafor that tends to help.

I was merely trying to help you with your situation. If it does not sound like good advice to you, then don't take it.

You have already been to a Urologist and have been tested for the obvious. They are trained to recognize an enlarged prostate, which would be indicative of a possible cancer. If you are concerned of cancer, have him draw blood and run PSA levels to be certain. Short of placing a large gauge catheter up your urethra into your bladder to take a look at what's going on with a camera, there is nothing else they can do. I can tell you, I have been catheterizing with a medium gauge catheter six plus times a day for the past three years to urinate, and in the beginning it was very painful. I don't see you subjecting yourself to this when it seems to me to be a simple case of urethritis or balantitis, which is often relieved using an ointment as I suggested above.

Good Luck,

I had the same problem around 5 years ago. I tried an herb called Saw Palmeto (spelling). You are going to think that the next thing is gross: I read an article about massaging the prostate. I was desperate!!! It burned everytime I urinated. I had no STDs, etc. Urologist was no help. Try the herb and try massaging your prostate with your finger. It worked for me. Also, find another urologist if your symptoms don't improve.
