This may sound different to you all. For the last 4 to 5 years I've had an allergy to Latex. That mean things like rubberbands, bandaids, etc. So when I do have a reaction to Latex I get like rash on my arm. I need to bandage it up good. So if you do know someone please keep these things away from them!

Lots of people are allergic to latex rubber. I am one of them. Though I don't seem to have an allergy to rubber bands and my clothes that have elastic in them or balloons (probably because I don't blow up balloons!) I do have one to latex condoms and gloves. I found out the hard way with those. It is hard to tell whether they are made from synthetic rubber or latex rubber, so I have avoided both. I also tell my doctors and dentists, that I have this allergy BEFORE they put on the gloves. I have not had a problem in many years now.

I am allergic to latex. It is pretty common. The time to be the most aware is at hospitals and doctors. My surgery room was prepared latex free and I had the red sign on my wrist and recovery door but I woke up with regular bandaid on my hand?????? !!!!!
Also the things they stick on your chest are creating lots of trubble. Big blisters.
Be aware of food related allergies.
