My wife and I have been married 10 years, for the past 3 she has been diagnosed Bi-polar. Before that everyone was scared of her and she was like a timebomb. When she started taking her meds she did alot better, our relationship was doing pretty good. In the past 6 weeks she has quit her meds and is in an almost constant manic state. She doesnt think there is anything wrong.

She has become distant most times to myself and our children and can seem to stay home long enough to spend time with us or go out with us. I try to explain to her the symptoms from amped out to completely irritated to straight angry and then tired. We are going to a group session next week that I hope will help her see what our children and I see. I dont want to give up on her because I love her but if things dont get better i dont know how long I can hang on for my children and myself.

Any help on how to get through to her or help her or anything would be much appreciated, I am starting to lose it and dont know what to do.

Take video of her behavior as much as possible or at least tape record her. She has NO CONCEPT of what she actually sounds like or how abnormal her behavior is. When you are sick and unreasonable, reason makes no sense to you. Therefore, you trying to talk to her in logic terms won't get through and she'll just be defensive. Whatever you do to confront her, always start with I'M VERY CONCERNED, You don't seem like yourself. I want to do all I can to help you.
