:confused: I take HRT daily, as I have no ovaries. This has been the case for 10 years now, and to date, I've had no issues with my hormones. Since my digestive problems began, my breasts have been extremely sore. Additionally, I've been rather on edge and can cry at the drop of a hat (can , though I try not to). I can't imagine how a digestive disorder (pain and cramping -- with no ovaries & no uterus, remember -- while having completely normal BM's) could have any effect on hormones. I have no appetite, and I'm more tired than I remember ever being. Will someone help? Any suggestions? My referral for a GI specialist just came through today (for a consultation at least); I don't know wheather to even mention the hormone issue. I don't want to throw too much junk in the pot at once. Thanks for any suggestions/help/ideas! :wave:

Even though you are on HRT, your hormones can still be causing all sorts of problems. You may need to change the kind and strength that you are taking. Not all hormones are from your ovaries. I would also have your thyroid checked, as it can have this affect.

you will be surprised what problems digestive problems can cause. It can cause tiredness, moodyness, depression, joint ache, problmes sleeping. The list goes on.
It could be a digestive problem that is causing all of this, but like mommabee said you need your hormones checking again. Even though you are HRT the level of HRT you are on could be too low and needs adjusting.

I would just like to add that I have been suffering from digestive problems also and I also get breast tenderness and joint aches.Have even had a mammogram and ultrasound and nothing was found.Sometimes its almost a tingling but most it is right sided soreness.I also have gallbladder issues and get alot of pain in my right side shoulder and back so I dont know if it is related or not.Let me know what you find out.
