Anyone know what this is specifically? I know what the bronchial asthma bit is but spasmodic? What's that as opposed to just normal bronchial asthma? Wouldn't it always be spasmodic? As opposed to chronic?

Hi Stevie 23,
I believe its just a way of saying that your symptom of constriction, tightness,& pressure from your asthma
is caused by bronchial Spasms/constrictions.
I believe they just have to categorize it & give it name for the purpose of medical coding/billing.
I guess its just a little more specific than just saying you have asthma
but rather you have asthma caused by Bronchial Spasms.
Thats my take. But I might be wrong
