Just wondering if anyone has ever taken 20mg at a time on a regular basis? I have bad itching, especially on the soles of my feet, but all over my body at times. Zyrtec does a great job, but my insurance, Aetna, won't cover it. Alavert 10mg works fairly well, but I'm thinking that doubling the dose might do the job as well as the Zyrtec. I weigh 240lbs., so I'm wondering if more body weight would allow for the higher dose? Thanks.

NO.
Don't.
The Loratadine helps your breathing ability due to allergies and will have no effect what so ever on your itchy areas.

Order the Zyrtec from Canada. It is OTC there as Cetirizine. There are numerous websites for Canadian pharmacies. I pay $29 plus shipping for 90 tablets.

Thanks. Don't know why I didn't think of that.
