of course there is no way to be certain what is going on with your fiance from a distance, or with the bare bones facts you state, but I will say that the most common symptom reported by hep c carriers is fatigue.
So, not unexpected.
It is also not life threatening. So, he should certainly go ahead with his appointments, but you should be reassured that nothing special might be the dr's conclusion. hep c is in MOST cases, a very slow moving disease, and you may be reassured as you learn more about it.
