Has anyone ever taken Ritalin LA and Ritalin SR and notice a difference between the two? Which is better? My doctor says there is no difference, but several sites on the web have suggested otherwise.

One is an extended release tablet and comes in a larger dosage. The other is a smaller tablet and comes in a small tablet. That is all I know because my son takes both of them. My sons pdoc said the Ritilin LA was an extended release med at one time.
