Hi. I am new to this board and am in need of some advice.
I am not sure if this is where I should post this or not but here goes.
ABout 6 mths. ago I had surgery on my foot and have recently developed what my doc. says is cherry angioma. Has anyone ever experienced this? I am only 22 and very confused.

An angioma is a blood vessel tumor. The shape and or color is why it gets the "cherry" name. Under most conditions they are not painful, dangerous, or anything more than a large red looking freckle type thing. If it is in another area of the body besides the foot most people do not notice them. The foot might be a little more noticeable if the spot could be irritated by a shoe. If it is in a place where your shoe could rub it, it might bleed more than any other cut or scrape might. It can be removed if needed but usually is not a big problem and definitely not because of a blood disorder.
